'tis february

In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else.  It's important to combine the two in just the right amount.
~Haruki Murakami

This past week, I've been focusing on getting an earlier start to the day.  This is something that doesn't come easy to me, but the times that I do get up early are always productive and appreciated.  Being able to spend my time wisely and take advantage of the mornings before work is pretty wonderful... plus the quiet hours are so inviting.

This is so so excellent to watch...

  3. I love the Murakami quote. very wise.

I have to try to get up early (earlier) myself. I'm not a morning person, and in winter it is twice as hard to get going. but I agree, early mornings can be so productive, and I think non-morning people can appreciate this time much more...

  5. I am trying to start earlier this month as well. It's hard to leave the blankets, but afterwards I am so much more content and feel accomplished.

  6. As always your photograph is dreamy & the words you write with it are even better. I so wish I could start the day earlier but I usually go to sleep pat 3AM. But I do love the quiet solitude of the mornings if I am up & not in a hurry.

  8. Just lovely. I've been thinking the same. It will certainly be easier to get up early once the sun starts rising a little earlier too!

  9. All of your pictures make me want to fall asleep /again/ and /again/ and dream my way into them, to the forest and the sean and the sky. Please, eyes! Let me get what I want. And until then, I'll be following you. Thank you!
