yesterday morning

How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before it's afternoon.
December is here before it's June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?
~Dr. Seuss

I marvel that we are now in the last month of the year.  With the excitement building up for the holidays, the twinkle lights around the neighborhoods, the gathering of loved ones and more... these magical moments get me every time.  Welcome, welcome December.

  23. What gorgeous photos - I'm amazed they came out so purple! The snow falling over them really brings the images to life too :)

What a sweet poem too. I was reading Oh, The Places You'll Go the other day and it actually made me a little teary. I guess I had forgotten how beautiful and profound Dr. Suess can be...it kind of makes me want to re-read more of the books I liked as a kid!
