pieces of spring

The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day.
~Robert Frost

The blooms bursting around town are pretty fantastic.  They bring a smile often.  Some good things about today have been: shifted plants around the house, walked with J. to the library, made a new terrarium, ate a wonderful orange, spoke with a friend, cooked together with J., and read The New Yorker.

  1. I know the sort of April day Mr. Frost references, we've had a few lately. A wonderful orange was a good part of my day today too. Walking to the library is always nice. Today my walk was to a bookstore. Cheers to tomorrow being just as nice.

  3. I love Robert Frost - his poetry and his relationship with nature. I think the blossoms will be slightly late around here - thank goodness the snow is disappearing!

  13. Ah Mr Frost - how very true - the sun is lovingly warm, yet the wind is still so crisp.
