Reflection and prioritization are good. Enjoy the quiet.
I feel as if I have been reflecting a lot lately as well :) Beautiful photograph.
the shades in the picture are insane.
really, really like the Stein quote. so true. i like this image - reads as something hopeful.
It's been a very quiet week for me as well. All classes, but one have been cancelled. I've been reading, painting and dreaming (of course) Enjoy the rest of the week.Kim.
i think most of us have been reflective and quiet, standing in thought and prayer beside Japan. for me, it is something that doesn't leave me. i am glad that i had a little money to donate but wish i could offer my home, shelter, or some kind of direct care for someone who needed it...i love this photo so much, but then, i am certain there is nothing you photograph that i haven't loved.
The picture fits very well with the quote - I like it very much
i love this quote and photo - simple, complicated, interesting - just that
this is a powerful shot!
Denise: Agreed, and thanks!B.Held: Perhaps it's this time of year, but it feels appropriate as well. I understand.Marion: It's good stuff that spectra can produce.tanya: I couldn't pass up the quote for sure. It just seemed to fit with the photo.Kimberly Geneviève: It sounds like you are making the most of time off, quite lovely that you paint.kitchu: Yes, I believe the more I read the stories that are occurring in Japan at this time makes one reflective and moved to do what one can with donations. It sounds like your heart is in the right place.Li + Belle: Thank you!Jenna: That Gertrude Stein sure said a lot of good things. So glad you like this quote.Elisabelle: Thank you so much!
i love the stripped down composition and dual tonality in the pinks and reds
That ladder looks so inviting.

I wonder what is there if I crimb up all the way. Nice interesting photo.
