snowy

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.
~Bill Morgan

Yesterday evening it snowed quite a bit for Seattle and it was exciting to see the snowflakes continuously falling.  This morning it's raining and all the white is disappearing so I dug through my archives to share some past snowy times.

  5. Wasn't it beautiful last night? It made me so happy to go to bed to such a pretty scene out my window. I wish I had taken some photos, as indeed, the rain turned all that pretty white to slush by this morning. Yours from the archives are lovely--I love the way snow changes the color of the sky.
