The last part of summer has arrived and I'm loving all the delicious varieties offered at the farmers' market. J. and I bought some romaine lettuce and the leaves were so big that we made sandwich wraps with the lettuce instead of tortillas. It was completely scrumptious.
p.s. I always thought of rhubarb as a fruit, but recently discovered it's botanically classified as a vegetable. It reminds me of the avocado and how some make it a sweet treat and others use it more as a salty combination.
