a well-loved process

Spend the afternoon. You can't take it with you.
~Annie Dillard

Sometimes as I look upward there is a calming down of things. Nothing hurried and then a moment emerges to take hold of. Pressing the camera button, familiar click and whoosh sounds spill forth. Smiling and patiently waiting, the square format view appears in my hand. Tucking the Polaroid gently into a notebook, I continue walking to find more magic.

  1. Beautiful images! They are so calming. I haven't shot with my polaroid in ages...... but I think you've inspired me to grab some film and head out. Lovely blog - glad to have stumbled onto it :)
