sweet peonies

With the arrival of Spring and Summer, flowers are on my mind continuously. I love observing these peony beauties as they are in constant change daily. Nothing is at a standstill. It is always progressing, shifting, and transforming into something further. So many lessons and ideas are revealed from a flower if one is open to noticing. I like that.

Yesterday I learned about the lovely Japanese word komorebi which means the sunshine that filters through the trees or the leaves of trees.

This reminded me of a Rothko painting. I never tire of visiting the sea.

This photo was a surprise with the light. I appreciate the reminder that film is special and always worth the effort.
